Job summary

Atlas Copco IAS North America is seeking a Finance Controlling Manager to support the Business Controller/Director of Finance and Administration. This hands‑on role focuses on accurate reporting, data-driven insights, and process improvements while growing toward broader control responsibilities.

You will coordinate closings, manage variances, dashboards, and planning with SSC and operations, translating financial data into concise recommendations for leadership.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills and SAP FICO expertise, including FI/CO and profitability analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Admin, Economics or related field.
• At least 4 years of progressive financial experience in analysis, controlling, audit, FP&A, or finance operations.
• Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and month-end close processes.
• Ability to identify trends, explain variances, and drive actionable recommendations.
• Clear written and verbal communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings and management reporting.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and support meetings with SSC and operations.
• Monitor working capital, inventories, and KPIs; report variances and actions.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and explain variances for leadership.
• Support forecasts, budgeting, and cost optimization with data-driven insights.
• Lead or support analysis of orders, sales, margins, and KPI drivers.
• Ensure compliance, controls, and audit readiness; coordinate documentation.
