Job summary

The Swan Center for Plastic Surgery in Atlanta seeks an Accountant to manage day-to-day financial accounting for a multi-revenue‑stream practice, including commissions and bonuses. The role partners with practice leadership, payroll, and HR to ensure accurate, timely compensation across surgical services and skincare offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience; healthcare, medical spa, plastic surgery, or multi-location retail/services experience strongly preferred.
• CPA or progress toward CPA licensure a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes.
• Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for leadership and ownership.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and merchant processing accounts; manage vendor payments and aging.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis by location and service line.
• Oversee inventory management and fixed assets; record depreciation per CapEx policy.
• Calculate provider commissions and administer bonuses; perform true-ups and reconcile with payroll.
