Job summary

Shionogi Inc. in Florham Park, NJ, seeks an Associate Director of Finance - Contractor to drive FP&A activities, pre-launch and launch analyses, and partner with Finance Directors for strategic insights.

You will lead variance analyses, support month-end close, and prepare P&Ls and financial packages for senior leaders, including product supply and inventory considerations. This is a hybrid role with on-site presence 2–3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred.
• 6–8 years in finance with forecasting, variance analysis, month-end close, and financial packages.
• Launch experience highly preferred; pharma/biotech/medical tech exposure beneficial.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and SOX; strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Commercial and Medical teams with financial analysis support.
• Lead variance analysis vs. prior year, budget, and latest estimates with business narrative.
• Support month-end close, accruals, allocations, and internal controls.
• Prepare performance reviews and financial packages for senior management.
• Assist P&Ls and commercial expense reporting; communicate results to leaders.
• Analyze product supply and wholesaler inventory with Finance Director.
