Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred.
• 6–8 years of finance experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical technology industries.
• Launch experience highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance.
• Experience with financial planning and analysis in a company with complex business strategies.
• Proficiency with JDE and TM1.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Commercial and Medical teams by providing financial analysis and support for product and marketing initiatives.
• Lead comprehensive variance analysis vs. previous year, budget, and Latest Estimates; include written business analysis to identify risks & opportunities.
• Partner with the Finance Directors, make suggestions and mitigation; develop and analyze performance metrics.
• Support the month-end close and accrual process for Commercial functions; ensure proper expense recognition; manage allocations; ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Support the preparation of performance reviews and other formal financial packages for senior management; on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Support the preparation of product P&Ls and Commercial expense reports and assists in communicating results to business leaders.
• With the Finance Director, analyze and make recommendations pertaining to product supply and wholesaler inventory management.
