GEODIS, a global logistics provider, is recruiting an Operations Supervisor for Final Mile. You will oversee warehouse operations, inventory integrity, and on-time loadouts while coordinating with drivers and independent contractors across the distribution center.

You will lead daily dispatch activities, monitor routes, and resolve client issues, ensuring safety and policy compliance. Hybrid work schedule with in-office presence required most days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related final mile, warehouse, or distribution center experience.
• Lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with independent contractors or third-party carriers preferred.
• Experience with delivery management or routing software (e.g., DispatchTrack) preferred.
• PC literate with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to read safety rules and operation manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Clear professional communication with drivers, clients, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Hire and manage the dispatcher role.
• Supervise and participate in employment decisions
• Oversee daily loadout, manifests, and on-time dispatch.
• Manage daily stand-ups with independent contractors.
• Dispatch operations: track routes, escalate issues, communicate with drivers.
• Oversee end-of-day checks, returns, and reconciliations.
• Maintain records in the delivery management system.
• Ensure continuity of dock, dispatch, and customer service in absence of senior roles.
• Enforce company policies and safety standards.
• Suggest process improvements to leadership.
• May oversee inbound/outbound warehouse operations.
• Build a strong client relationship.
