Farmers Insurance is hiring a Field Property Claims Adjuster in Tucson, AZ. The role conducts on-site and virtual investigations, negotiates settlements, and uses claims software to write estimates.

Travel to policyholders’ residences and occasional cat deployments are required, with a strong emphasis on customer service and policy knowledge. You will work in a dynamic team, handling diverse property damage cases and coordinating with agents, witnesses, and investigators while maintaining

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service experience preferred.
• Construction or Insurance experience desirable.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Proficiency with smartphones and apps.
• Valid driver’s license and bondable; MVR check may apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site and virtual investigations by visiting policyholders' residences to assess property damage and determine liability.
• Use claims software, company vehicle, and a laptop to prepare estimates in a paperless environment.
• Evaluate subrogation opportunities and report findings.
• Report incidents involving theft, fraud, or arson to state and industry agencies as needed.
• Interact with policyholders, claimants, agents, witnesses, contractors, and investigators.
• Negotiate settlements with policyholders leveraging strong customer service and professionalism.
