Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or two+ years of work experience required.
• Three+ years of relevant experience demonstrated through work or military.
• Willingness to travel up to ~25% of time and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Design routes: Create maps for fiber optic cable paths.
• Manage permits: Secure rights‑of‑way permits with local authorities.
• Coordinate with vendors, utilities, and government agencies.
• Estimate costs: Build budgets, material lists, and timelines.
• Oversee construction: Direct contractors and check fieldwork quality.
• Respond to outages: Address fiber damage and restore network.
• Document systems: Update records in Fiber-X, Canvas and similar tools.
