Job summary

Akira Technologies is seeking a Budget Analyst to support NTIA budget execution, financial management, funding tracking, reporting, and resource analysis. This hybrid role requires US citizenship with an active Public Trust clearance, onsite in Washington, DC up to 2–3 days a week.

You will collect and validate budget data, track funding and expenditures, and build dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in finance/related field.
• 2+ years in budgeting, finance, accounting, or resource management.
• 2+ years collecting, organizing, validating, and analyzing financial data.
• Experience maintaining budget trackers, reports, and documentation.
• Experience supporting Federal Government budgeting activities.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust designation or security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support NTIA budget execution, financial management, and resource planning.
• Collect, organize, validate, and maintain budget information.
• Track funding, obligations, and expenditures.
• Assist with financial analysis and resource planning.
• Prepare financial spreadsheets, trackers, reports, and documentation.
• Review financial information for accuracy and reconciliation.
• Develop reports and data visualizations using Excel, Power BI, Tableau.
• Coordinate with accounting, program management, operational, and administrative teams.
• Support improvements to budget, financial, and reporting workflows.
