Job summary

Salvesen Mindroom Centre is recruiting for a role within its place-based Whole Family Support Fund programme. The post is temporary, full-time (35 hours per week), and hybrid with essential presence in the local area across Glasgow, Lanarkshire, East and Midlothian, West Lothian, Dumfries and Galloway, Dundee, and the Highlands and Islands.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred advice, information, emotional and practical support to families.
• Conduct 1:1 support helping families identify goals, build confidence and navigate services.
• Support neurodivergent children and young people alongside their parents and carers.
• Offer information to professionals working with neurodivergent families and make referrals when needed.
• Advocate for families at meetings and within supported services.
• Maintain accurate, timely case records in line with Mindroom policies, including confidentiality.
• Monitor and evaluate activity and outcomes using available tools and case studies.
• Assist with safeguarding and child protection policies across all work areas.
