Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and eight years' related experience required.
• Degree in business, economics, accounting, finance, or a closely related field
• Experience coordinating procurement processes for a public/government agency
• Demonstrated knowledge of City and/or State procurement rules, procedures, and finance law
• Experience conducting purchasing/sourcing in ERP systems (CUNYBuy, CUNYfirst, SFS)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax and non-tax levy purchases; develop bid specs; advertise; negotiate contracts.
• Prepare and submit Board Resolutions; compile contract packages for procurement vehicles.
• Review and approve unit assignments; create procurement project plans; update stakeholders.
• Analyze purchasing procedures; propose operational efficiencies.
• Streamline procure-to-pay workflow with FPCM, accounts payable, budget, and accounting offices.
• Supervise procurement and fleet staff; provide training and development.
• Ensure compliance with CUNY, NYS, and Federal guidelines.
