Job summary

The Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library Foundation in Medora, North Dakota, seeks an experienced Technology & Event AV Technician. The role splits time between exhibit/IT support and event AV production, ensuring reliable audio, video, streaming, and presentation services for internal and third-party events.

Responsibilities include setup, operation, and teardown of AV systems, troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and ensuring readiness for staff meetings, public programs, and rentals.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in AV production, live events, IT support, or related technical field.
• Experience with AV signal flow and troubleshooting live events.
• Comfortable with hands-on installation and public spaces.
• Ability to work evenings/weekends to support events.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and strike AV systems for internal and external events.
• Configure audio, video, and projection systems for live events.
• Support live streaming and recording during events.
• Serve as on-site AV contact for clients and vendors.
• Coordinate with staff and vendors to ensure readiness.
• Maintain event AV inventory and documentation.
