Job summary

RMD Group is seeking a Sales & Event Service Manager to generate and service private events for Ballast Point Anaheim and Long Beach. The hybrid role combines sales, planning, and on-site event execution, with travel between venues and local client events.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of event sales/service experience, strong relationship skills, and knowledge of CRM/event tools. California-based travel and high‑touch service are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Communications or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in event sales and/or event service within restaurants, breweries, hotels, or event venues.
• Experience with Tripleseat, Social Tables, HubSpot or similar CRM/event management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals for Ballast Point Anaheim and Long Beach and forecast accurately.
• Drive outbound prospecting via calls, emails, and networking to generate new business.
• Plan and host familiarization events for planners, concierges, and partners to drive awareness and bookings.
• Prepare proposals, menus, layouts, and cost estimates; negotiate terms and secure contracts.
