Job summary

Ameritas is seeking a Marketing Intern - Community Relations to assist the team in developing, producing and implementing the Company's corporate relations efforts. The role focuses on ensuring the brand is consistently represented through community partnerships.

The internship runs May 2027 for 12 months in a hybrid schedule in Lincoln, NE, with both in-office and remote work. You will support budgets, nonprofit outreach, and sponsorship messaging while gaining hands-on experience in

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in a college program at least half-time for the entire duration of the internship studying Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Hospitality or another related field.
  • Ability to commit to a 12-month internship working full-time in the summer and part-time during the school year.
  • Full-time hours: 30-40 hours per week; Part-time hours: 15-20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Process and track donation budgets.
  • Connect and collaborate with local nonprofit organizations and their staff.
  • Assist with community sponsorship messaging, tracking, research and planning.
  • Manage community relations databases using Ameritas’ digital platform.
  • Provide support in writing internal and external communications.
  • Other projects as assigned.

Job description

Ameritas is looking for a Marketing Intern - Community Relations to drive the business by assisting the team in the development, production and implementation of the Company's corporate relations both internally and externally. This intern will ensure the Company's brand is properly and consistently represented through community partnerships.
