Avenue Live, a subsidiary of US HealthConnect, seeks a Live/Virtual Event AV Technician to support live, hybrid, and virtual event production in Columbus, OH. Duties include preparing, testing, operating, and breaking down audiovisual equipment, with travel 30–50% of the time.

The role requires hands-on AV experience, comfort with Zoom/Teams, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments. Travel may include multi-day trips; on-site warehouse work when not traveling.

Qualifications

• Background in audiovisual technology or related field.
• Basic understanding of electronics, networking, AV systems.
• Ability to set up and operate audio, video, lighting equipment.
• Familiar with virtual/hybrid platforms (Zoom/Teams) and video switching tools (vMix/OBS).
• Willingness to travel 30–50% domestically, with some international trips.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, scan, pack, and organize AV equipment per pull sheets.
• Perform QC checks on equipment prior to deployment.
• Set up, test, operate, and breakdown audio, video, lighting, and related gear.
• Assist with installation and configuration of AV systems for live, hybrid, and virtual events.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues during events.
• Communicate issues to the appropriate team members.
