Job summary

Marcus Theatres is seeking a dynamic Event Coordinator to support the Regional Account Manager by handling day-to-day admin and operational details for group events. You’ll act as the hub between sales, operations, and clients, ensuring events are contracted, communicated, executed, and reconciled.

This hybrid role combines on-site, in-theatre responsibilities with office work, with travel to Addison, Gurnee, or Country Club Hills as needed.

• Excellent written and verbal communication for professional correspondence and event docs.
• Ability to build effective cross-department relationships.

• Willing to support additional assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary admin and coordination support for group events.
• Assist with inbound client inquiries via phone and shared email inboxes.
• Ensure clear documentation of client timelines, expectations, and event details.
• Coordinate event prep by communicating requirements to theatre ops and clients.
• Maintain and update contracts, calendars, and invoices for accuracy.
• Reconcile events by reviewing payments, receipts, and transactions.
