Job summary

JBS International is seeking an Evaluation and Data Analyst (Social Sciences and Public Health) for a hybrid role with at least two onsite days per week at San Mateo, CA or North Bethesda, MD. The position focuses on data collection, processing, analysis, and reporting for national service and public health projects.

You will work with SAS, R, Python, and SQL to create dashboards in Excel/Power BI and produce high-quality client deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Sociology, Community Psychology, Statistics, Social Sciences or a similar field.
• 2 years of experience including 1 year of quantitative survey research.
• English fluency (oral and written).
• Experience with SAS, R, Python or Stata and SQL; familiarity with survey platforms (Alchemer, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey).

Responsibilities

• Support data collection and participant tracking activities.
• Assist with developing and testing online surveys and data collection tools.
• Clean, organize, and prepare datasets for analysis.
• Create tables, charts, dashboards, and other visualizations in Excel and Power BI.
• Prepare analytic summaries and client-ready materials.
