Job summary

ASC Steel Deck is seeking an Estimator for a hybrid role, with open positions in Spokane, WA, Tacoma, WA, or West Sacramento, CA. The estimator will prepare take-off style quotes, review drawings and specs, and maintain a detailed quote log to support a proactive sales and customer service team.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field (or 2-year degree with 3+ years in estimating/project management) and experience with AutoCAD or estimating software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required; in lieu of degree, 2-year Associate degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD and estimating software programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely estimates and quotations for qualified opportunities including detailed pricing and documentation for ASC Building Products, AEP Span, and Steel Deck products.
• Review construction documents, drawings, and specs to determine product applications and identify issues.
• Maintain detailed quote records and track activities using software tools for reporting and follow-up.
• Collaborate with Inside/Outside Sales, CSRs, customers, designers, installers and contractors to support project success and maximize quote conversions.
• Provide product recommendations, technical guidance, and application suitability based on customer needs.
