Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; vocational training a plus.
• Experience using floor machines for shampooing, stripping, and refinishing is highly desirable.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to follow written and oral instructions and diagrams for events.
• Capable of lifting 20–30 lb and occasionally heavier loads.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas including furnishings, walls, windows, tile, fixtures, and floors.
• Vacuum, dust, and polish designated areas and furnishings.
• Sanitize and disinfect bathrooms; replenish supplies.
• Operate floor buffing/waxing machines and other cleaning equipment.
• Report malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Set up for special and athletic events as requested.
• Maintain open, collaborative relationships with campus community.
