Qualifications
- Degree in toxicology, environmental science, public health, engineering or related field.
- At least 6 years in environmental consulting or regulatory work on DoD or EPA projects focusing on risk assessment.
- Experience with EPA Risk Assessment Guidance for Superfund and/or Ecological Risk Assessment Guidance for Superfund.
- Knowledge of CERCLA and RCRA regulations and state interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Manage and analyze large environmental datasets.
- Prepare tables, figures, and data exhibits.
- Author risk assessments and related technical deliverables.
- Review and interpret environmental and toxicological studies.
- Support remedial strategy design and cleanup level development.
- Conduct statistical analyses and compare background/site data.
- Serve as project risk assessor in meetings with clients and regulators.
- Lead and provide direction to junior staff.
