AXIA Environmental is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to lead Florida PRP remediation projects in the South Florida region. The hybrid role requires hands-on management from site assessment through regulatory closure while coordinating with clients, regulators, and field teams.

The ideal candidate will bring direct FDEP PRP experience, a relevant bachelor's degree, and strong reporting/communication skills to drive project success and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Direct project management experience with Florida's FDEP Petroleum Restoration Program (PRP).
• Experience managing petroleum-contaminated site assessment and remediation projects in Florida.
• Strong communication, technical writing, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead FDEP PRP projects from site assessment through remediation and regulatory closure.
• Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and regulatory deliverables.
• Oversee soil and groundwater investigations, monitoring, remediation, and cleanup activities.
• Prepare and review technical reports, work plans, proposals, and FDEP submissions.
• Coordinate with clients, regulators, contractors, laboratories, and field teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Maintain client relationships and support business development opportunities.
• Ensure project quality, regulatory compliance, and adherence to company safety standards.
