Job summary

Commonwealth of Massachusetts' Department of Environmental Protection is seeking an Information and Data Coordinator to support IT projects and environmental compliance and enforcement data. This role collaborates with data managers to identify bugs, provide user training, QA/QC data, and generate reports for EPA and MassDEP senior staff.

You will help replace legacy applications, document requirements, and coordinate enforcement policy changes with EEA IT.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting applications in production including bug reporting and user issue testing.
• Ability to document system scope, user stories, and testing activities.
• Experience creating SOPs, training materials, and user guides.
• Strong communication and collaboration across staff levels.

Responsibilities

• Support IT projects and data analysis to improve enforcement and compliance data systems.
• Provide training and update user guides for system users.
• Perform QA/QC reviews and inform staff training or documentation needs.
• Analyze data and produce reports for EPA and MassDEP or public requests.
• Coordinate changes to enforcement data definitions and tracker as needed.
