Job summary

New Jersey League of Conservation Voters (New Jersey LCV) seeks a Digital Communications Coordinator to lead our digital strategy, educate, engage, and mobilize activists, supporters, partners, and decision-makers. This role manages digital communications, including paid advertising, advocacy, fundraising, growth across platforms, and works as a strategic partner across departments.

This full-time, hybrid position is based in Hamilton, NJ with occasional evening/weekend events; salary range

Qualifications

• Experience with social media management and digital content creation.
• Commitment to environmental conservation and NJ LCV mission.
• Ability to analyze digital metrics and inform strategy.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Experience with CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Plan, write, design, and deploy digital content across platforms to educate, mobilize, grow and diversify activists, email lists, and followers.
• Bring strategic thinking and innovative recommendations to strengthen digital platforms and communications strategies.
• Serve as an integral member of the Development and Communications team by participating in weekly team meetings and supporting department goals.
• Write and execute fundraising appeals and campaigns across email, social media, text, and paid channels.
• Apply a racial justice lens to all online communications, emphasizing education and engagement on issues where communities of color and overburdened communities are disproportionately impacted.
• Partner with the Head of Strategic Messaging to develop compelling content and effectively communicate the organization's mission and impact.
• Track, analyze, and report on digital metrics tied to grants, campaigns, and organizational goals.
• Write and publish content for new and existing sections organization websites, with an eye to improvements.
• Assist with planning, development, and delivery of trainings for staff on digital best practices.
• Utilize and maintain the organization's CRM to support audience engagement, communications, and accurate constituent data management
• Perform other duties as assigned.
