Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer for our Lake Oswego, Oregon office. You will join the Pacific Civil/Structural Substation team and participate in foundational and structural design for substations, including foundations, structure, rigid bus, and control buildings.

This role offers training, documentation work, and coordination with multiple disciplines. A BSCE from an ABET-accredited program and 0–1 years of experience are required; hybrid work is available and relocation

Qualifications

• BSCE (Civil or Structural) from ABET-accredited college.
• 0–1 years post-education experience.
• Basic understanding of structural analysis including steel and concrete design.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of substation structural design (foundation, structure, bus, control building).
• Prepare calculation packages and documentation.
• Coordinate with other disciplines on electrical substation design.
• Ensure plans meet client and WSP standards.
