Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Office proficiency.
• Attention to detail with high accuracy.
• Ability to research information, identify discrepancies, and follow procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Clear communication and teamwork.
• Ability to handle financial and confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Research unidentified payments using documentation and system information to determine the correct account or transaction.
• Review and process returned payments accurately and promptly.
• Research and document non-recovery payments and check activity per procedures.
• Investigate payment discrepancies and escalate unresolved issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of payment research and processing.
• Collaborate with Accounting and Operations to resolve payment-related issues.
• Cross-train with team members to broaden knowledge of processes.
• Follow internal controls, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
• Support additional Accounting projects as assigned.
