Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking an entry-level Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Engineer to join our Engineering & Development Services group. You will work under close supervision on projects across sectors such as power generation, renewables, and water treatment, applying basic engineering principles.

Responsibilities include preparing P&IDs, reports, and technical studies while coordinating with project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Must complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, etc.).
• Hybrid or flexible work options after 90 days at manager's discretion.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating P&ID diagrams, reports, and engineering specifications.
• Conduct routine research and analysis to support instrument and equipment selection.
• Adhere to scope, schedule, budget, and Black & Veatch quality program.
