Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an Entry Level Engineering Technician to support engineering teams on infrastructure projects. Under close supervision, you will assist with technical tasks using CAD, BIM, and other design tools to create and maintain drawings and deliverables.

You'll learn BV standards, support document control, and gain hands-on experience across civil, mechanical, electrical, or structural disciplines. This is a great starting point for developing practical engineering skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate preferred; Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
• Must complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search).

Responsibilities

• Develops familiarity by reading, understanding and maintaining a working knowledge of BV standards and procedures.
• Ensures that deliverables are accurate and compliant by developing an understanding of BV Quality Program.
• Learns the applications required to modify less complex deliverables based on design inputs and supports internal clients.
• Proactively seeks and shares knowledge of latest technologies and processes
