Job summary

UMB Governance within Enterprise Technology Services seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple enterprise projects with cross-functional teams across data analytics and digital banking.

The role is hybrid (Mon–Thu on-site, Fri remote) at the UMB Technology & Operations Center in downtown Kansas City, MO. You will develop business cases, manage scope, schedule, risks, and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business Administration or related discipline and at least 8 years IT project management experience.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Proficiency with a Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool such as Sciforma or MS Project.
• Knowledge of financial services processes (data management, card transactions, deposits, payments, fraud).

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects across data analytics and digital banking programs.
• Develop business cases for executive review and approval of new projects.
• Collaborate with teams to define project scope, deliverables, and outcomes.
• Plan, monitor, adjust, and communicate the project schedule.
• Identify risks and coordinate resolution of complex issues; report progress.
