Job summary

HMSA is seeking a detail-oriented enrollment specialist hybrid-based in Hawaii to serve as a primary contact for enrollment inquiries and to coordinate with our vendor and internal teams. You will manage various membership changes and resolve data and processing issues to ensure accurate, timely information.

Qualifications

• Communicate with vendor and internal stakeholders to obtain or provide information regarding enrollment inquiries accurately and timely.
• Stay informed on electronic enrollment processes, transactions, and potential operational issues.
• Investigate transactions that did not process and correct errors per performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain effective working relationships with vendor partners and understand end-to-end processes between employer groups, electronic platform vendor, and HMSA.
• Process membership changes and complex transactions requiring special handling.
• Identify opportunities to improve data flow and system data integrity through investigation and corrective actions.
• Assist with resolving processing issues by collecting data, logging root causes, and proposing viable workarounds.
