Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company is seeking an Engineering Tools Support Engineer in a hybrid role, averaging 2 days per week from an HPE office. The role focuses on coordinating and supporting engineering IT tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD systems, while driving process improvements and automation adoption.

You will own end-to-end ticket workflows, manage cross-functional stakeholder communication, and contribute to scalable support models across engineering tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in engineering tools support, service desk, or operations.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, or similar platforms.
• Ability to manage ticket workflows and stakeholder communication independently.
• Familiarity with automation tools and API integrations (REST/JSON).

Responsibilities

• Support and manage core engineering platforms (Jira, Confluence, GitHub).
• Handle end-to-end ticket workflows to meet SLAs.
• Communicate status, risks, and timelines to stakeholders.
• Drive process standardization and continuous improvement.
• Assist in automation and system integrations with REST APIs.
