Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking an Advanced Engineering Project Manager to lead medium complexity projects and possibly work packages within larger programs. You will manage planning, execution, and close-out while coordinating up to 30 team members across disciplines such as Fuel & Reload Engineering, Software, and Process Improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Broad technical knowledge of nuclear power plants is helpful.
• Experience as a project manager in a technical industry such as engineering, manufacturing, nuclear or construction.
• 5 years of experience as project manager leading and directing medium or high complexity projects.
• PMI PMP certification or approved equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Complete all aspects of planning, including scope, schedule, cost baselines, resources and risk registers.
• Manage project execution to exceed quality, schedule and financial goals while following department protocols.
• Close the project by archiving documentation and identifying opportunities for improvement.
