Job summary

Duke Energy is offering engineering internship/co-op opportunities across Transmission, Distribution, Environmental Health & Safety, RRE, PMC, Nuclear and other groups. You will work with staff engineers on real projects, gain hands-on experience, and rotate through multiple engineering disciplines across locations nationwide.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in ABET-accredited programs, maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and will not graduate before August 2026.

Qualifications

• Pursuing ABET-accredited engineering degree with minimum GPA 3.0.
• No graduation before August 2026.
• Enrolled in Nuclear, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial & Systems Engineering/Engineering Technology or Construction Management.

Responsibilities

• Work on real-world projects and learn from experienced engineers.
• Assist in design, planning and asset management across multiple engineering groups.
• Participate in internship/co-op activities and rotational assignments.
