Job summary

D Duke Energy is offering an engineering internship/co-op across disciplines in locations including Florida. You will work on real-world projects under staff engineers, learning from experienced professionals, and gaining exposure to transmission, distribution, environmental health and safety, and regulated energy programs.

Applicants should be enrolled in ABET-accredited programs, maintain a GPA of 2.75 or higher, and be available for a summer session.

Qualifications

• Enrolled and pursuing an ABET-accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial & Systems Engineering OR enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or Construction Management.
• Must not graduate prior to August 2026
• Cumulative college GPA of 2.75 or higher
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and teamwork skills; strong written and oral communication
