Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking an Opportunity-Energy Logistics Analyst II to join a hybrid team within our service territory. 2–3 days in the office weekly.

You will forecast natural gas demand, develop procurement strategies, and support regulatory filings and tariff management. The role emphasizes SOX control understanding, advanced natural gas market knowledge, and strong data analysis with Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience
• 2–4 years of natural gas logistics or energy trading experience
• Advanced knowledge of natural gas markets
• Intermediate Excel; basic MS Office Outlook and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Forecast natural gas demand.
• Develop and manage supply & storage procurement strategies.
• Suggest changes to SOX control narratives as needed to address new control deficiencies.
• Prepare work papers, documents and reports for regulatory filings, rate cases and other reporting obligations; evaluate capacity holdings.
• Invoice reconciliations.
• Investigate data variances and propose solutions.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage 3rd party supply & transportation programs.
• Cultivate off-system sales transactions/programs.
• Manage the applicable LDC system according to tariff provisions.
• Suggest changes to tariff rules to streamline and improve competitiveness.
• Assist in strategic planning and long-term commercial opportunities.
• Champion process improvements and efficiencies.
• Additional duties as assigned.
