De Vore Recruiting in New York is seeking a highly motivated mid‑level Associate to join our legal team. The ideal candidate has 5‑7 years of employment law counseling and litigation experience representing employers and advising on compliance and risk mitigation.

The position is hybrid, with three days in the office per week, including Monday, and a discretionary bonus. Compensation ranges from $205,000 to $230,000 depending on class year and experience.

Formación

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in New York.
• 5-7 years of employment law experience.
• Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience counseling clients on compliance with employment laws.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare employee handbooks and policies.
• Advise clients on employment law issues including paid sick leave, discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour compliance.
• Represent employers in federal and state courts, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery responses, and conduct depositions.
• Prepare position statements and responses to administrative charges.
• Conduct witness interviews and fact investigations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related agreements.
• Other ad hoc projects and assignments as needed.
