Job summary
RFA Engineering is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer in Eden Prairie to design and develop back-end embedded software for vehicle operations. The role emphasizes C/C++ development, model-based design, and integration within a collaborative team.
Responsibilities include feature development, CI integration, testing, Agile tracking, and creating design documentation for microcontroller platforms. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Qualifications
- BS in Software, Computer, Electrical or related Engineering degree.
- Experience with C or C++ development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
Responsibilities
- Back-end embedded software development per the software requirements document.
- Integrate software in a multi-developer team using CI.
- Perform functional and integration testing before hand-off.
- Track development status using Agile methods.
- Create and support software for machine prototyping.
- Troubleshoot issues raised by customers and provide fixes.
- Create software design documentation.
- Develop and modify software to fit various microcontrollers.
- Collaborate with architects and developers on applications.
- Develop unit and regression test cases.
