RFA Engineering in Eden Prairie, MN, is seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer: Product Owner to lead a software team developing advanced precision agriculture applications in a hybrid office setting.

You will translate user needs into product requirements, define the vision and roadmap, manage the backlog, and guide design and development through Scrum ceremonies with stakeholders.

Qualifications

Description

RFA Engineering ( www.rfamec.com ) develops embedded software and electronics for our world-class clients in the areas of precision agriculture and vehicle electrification. We are seeking an experienced candidate to become an integral part of our engineering team. The selected candidate will work with an experienced engineering staff using state-of-the-art engineering tools & processes. This would be a hybrid position based out of our corporate office in Eden Prairie, MN.

Embedded Systems Engineer: Product Owner

As a Product Owner you would lead a software engineering team on development of cutting-edge applications for precision agriculture technology using tools and processes commonly found in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
• Defining the vision for the team’s product
• Creating a product roadmap based on this vision
• Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements
• Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development

Requirements

Desired Attributes

• Experience with CAN J1939, ISOBUS (ISO11783) and other commonly used vehicle communication protocols

• General knowledge of vehicles including automotive, off-highway and industrial applications
