Job summary

The Oklahoma Department Of Human Services in Muskogee, OK seeks a Family Services Specialist I/II to deliver customer service for Adult and Family Services programs. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for Level II; two years clerical experience for Level I.
• Equivalents that replace degree with college hours are acceptable.
• Level II also accepts an associate’s degree plus two years of clerical experience.
• Equivalents may substitute one year of professional experience per year of degree.
• Two years of experience as a Family Services Specialist is also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, processing electronic applications and renewals for all AFS programs (SNAP, CHILD CARE, MEDICAL).
• Interpret and apply policy and procedures; document casework clearly and perform complex tasks.
• Provide first contact resolution for clients via our virtual eligibility center or phone.
