Job summary

Oklahoma Department of Human Services seeks a Family Services Specialist I/II in Tulsa. The role focuses on eligibility processing for SNAP, child care, and medical programs, with telephone and online client interactions and documentation of casework.

Level I or II qualifications apply, with in-person JumpSTART training and potential for telework after a 120-day in-office period. Travel and driving may be required.

Qualifications

• Level I requires two years of administrative support, recordkeeping, customer service, or client service experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Level II requires a bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree with two years of related experience or two years as a Family Services Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Interview, process electronic applications and renewals for SNAP, CHILD CARE, and MEDICAL programs.
• Interpret and apply policy and procedures, document casework clearly, and perform complex tasks.
• Provide first contact resolution for clients via our virtual eligibility center or phone.
