Qualifications

• Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience or PhD in related field.
• Experience in advanced technology development, applied R&D, or tech transition.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with industry, government, and academic stakeholders.
• Experience managing technical projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to translate findings into actionable plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop technology roadmaps and gap analyses for programs.
• Assess emerging technologies and identify manufacturing maturity gaps.
• Engage industry, government, and academic stakeholders through meetings and workshops.
• Translate requirements into prioritized objectives and program plans.
• Develop strategic technical programs connecting tech with defense and commercial needs.
• Manage projects involving multiple organizations and sponsors.
• Review proposals and provide technically informed recommendations.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies with stakeholders.
• Develop partnerships among developers, end users, and government bodies.
• Prepare reports, roadmaps, and executive briefings for audiences.
• Represent NextFlex at meetings, conferences, and external engagements.
• Support planning events and stay updated on relevant tech areas.
