Job summary

NextFlex in San Jose, CA seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to develop, dial in, and scale hybrid electronics manufacturing processes using screen printing, gravure offset, and aerosol jet, along with automated assembly tools in our Tech Hub. You will own equipment and processes end-to-end, taking ideas from concept to physical product.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Expedition.
• Hands-on experience with precision instruments and fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and validate manufacturing processes for hybrid electronics.
• Own troubleshooting on the production floor—diagnose and resolve issues.
• Analyze data to uncover trends, improve yields, and performance.
• Design and build custom manufacturing fixturing using CAD tools.
• Program and operate fabrication tools including robotics, lasers, and inspection.
• Create clear manufacturing documentation and best practices.
• Train teammates on manufacturing best practices and processes.
• Collaborate with vendors to track capabilities and improvements.
• Be the subject matter expert for data-driven print tools and processes.
• Contribute to Fab Operations strategy and planning.
• Maintain a safe, high-performance manufacturing environment.
