Job summary

North Atlantic Industries, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Applications Engineer II to provide pre- and post-sales technical support for rugged embedded computing products. You will translate customer requirements into design-in opportunities and coordinate with engineering to resolve issues.

You will report to the AE Manager and work in a hybrid role with onsite days in Bohemia, NY, collaborating with sales and engineering to secure new design wins and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• BSEE / BSET or a four year degree in a technical discipline required.
• Some knowledge of embedded Bus architectures (VME, CPCI, etc.), Processors and/or related products a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in a technical support role desired.
• Outstanding communication skills both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre & post sales product information, advice and technical assistance to prospects towards the goal of achieving new design wins.
• Understand project technical system requirements via telephone and email with customers.
• Advise and participate with the prospect during customer test and evaluation activities.
• Develop a position as first line technical interface during the design-in process.
• Coordinate additional support activities and post-sales technical support with engineering departments.
• Ensure documentation, hardware/software revisions, specifications and test data are provided in support of design-in.
• Communicate internally product challenges and customer requirements for resolution.
