LeoForce seeks a Permanent Electrical Project Engineer: Hybrid to join our fast-paced construction team in Reston, VA. You will design, implement, and monitor electrical systems for various projects, ensuring code compliance and seamless integration with other disciplines.

The ideal candidate has a PE license, a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency with AGI, SKM, and lighting design tools. LEED AP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical project engineering, preferably within the construction industry.
• Proficiency with AGI, SKM, and lighting design programs.
• LEED AP certification strongly preferred.
• Lighting Design Certificate is an asset.
• Experience with energy modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement electrical systems for construction projects per codes.
• Use AGI, SKM, and lighting design tools to create energy-efficient lighting.
• Monitor design and installation to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to integrate electrical with other systems.
• Incorporate hybrid technologies into design where appropriate.
• Apply LEED AP knowledge to ensure sustainable design practices.
• Perform energy modeling to evaluate design efficiency.
• Proactively identify and troubleshoot potential issues.
• Maintain detailed design and implementation documentation.
