Qualifications

• Understanding of DFx principles and tools.
• Ability to analyze manufacturability, cost avoidance and yield improvements.
• Strong communication skills to present updates to executives.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical technical content of the product from concept through EOL and ongoing engineering (Dfx).
• Lead analysis and design input for manufacturability, fulfillment and product quality.
• Evaluate for cost avoidance, value engineering and supply chain capability.
• Identify design opportunities to enable cost reduction and yield improvements.
• Support Supply Chain risk mitigation and multi-source technical assessments.
• Collaborate with design, process, test and reliability engineering to tackle problems.
• Drive component failure analysis and root-cause corrective actions.
• Handle product qualification including data/yield/correlation analysis on large data sets.
