Job summary

P2S|CMTA is seeking a mid-level Electrical Engineer for our Long Beach or Irvine offices. This full-time hybrid role involves designing electrical systems, leading projects, and coordinating with multi-discipline teams to meet client needs.

The candidate should have 5–10 years of experience, a degree in Electrical Engineering, and familiarity with NEC, AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM, and Revit. Salary ranges from $115,000 to $150,000 with a possible annual bonus based on performance.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s) required.
PE license preferred.
5–10 years of electrical design experience.
Experience leading electrical design projects.
Proficient with NEC, AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM, and Revit.
Strong project management and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design projects for mid-sized facilities.
Prepare power single line and riser diagrams.
Perform electrical calculations (arc flash, coordination, short circuit) using ETAP/SKM.
Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, telecom, civil and architectural teams.
Provide construction administration support including RFIs and submittals.
