Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a District Planning Specialist to design and manage electrical distribution plans for residential and commercial projects in the South Bay area. Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in Electrical Utility Distribution/Transmission/Telecommunication Design, Distribution/Transmission/Telecommunication Line Construction, or Engineering discipline.
• Valid Class C Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Develops and prepares construction plans, drawings, and/or circuit maps; designs electrical distribution plans and provides cost estimates and ensures compliance with standards.
• Interacts with diverse customers to meet electrical design needs and deliver successful outcomes for customer and SCE.
• Manages small to medium-sized residential, commercial and industrial projects; determines scope of work, methods, and construction approaches; tracks work orders and budgets.
