Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a technical area including drafting, or a high school diploma with equivalent design experience.
• 5+ years drafting experience using standard CAD tools (MicroStation).
• Ability to visualize parts in 3D without CAD.
• Knowledge of MicroStation.
• Ability to multi‑task from project to project.

Responsibilities

• Utilize and expand drafting skills in a multi‑discipline team environment to prepare design drawings from input.
• Apply CAD skills and receive hands-on training in 3D design software.
• Create master sketches to scale showing relation of proposed installations to existing facilities and exact specs.
• Accompany experienced designers on client facility walkdowns to gather information.
• Interface with vendors and contractors to explain drawings for design adjustments.
