Sargent & Lundy, located in New Jersey, seeks a drafting professional to join a multi‑disciplinary design team. You will develop design drawings from input data using AutoCAD 3D or MicroStation and contribute to 3D models for accurate installations.

This hybrid role offers three days in the office and two remote days, with relocation support and a comprehensive benefits package to support work‑life balance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical experience in drafting.
• Advanced knowledge of computer drafting tools (AutoCAD and/or MicroStation).
• Ability to visualize equipment details and determine clearances.
• Ability to multi-task across projects.
• Ability to visualize 3D parts without CAD help.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design drawings based on input data within a multi-discipline team.
• Apply CAD skills and develop 3D models using AutoCAD 3D or MicroStation.
• Create master sketches to scale showing relation of installations to existing facilities.
• Assist experienced designers on client site walkdowns for information gathering.
• Explain drawings to vendors and contractors to support design adjustments.
