Job summary

Lawson Products, Inc. is seeking an intermediate-level Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to implement safety, environmental, and transportation compliance programs across its MRO network.

The role partners with operations leaders, warehouse teams, and corporate stakeholders to reduce risk and improve safety and environmental performance. The position is based at our Chicago headquarters with a hybrid schedule (three days in-office, two days remote).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in safety, environmental health, or related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of EHS regulations and compliance.
• Experience leading incident investigations and compliance initiatives.
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility safety programs and initiatives across the network.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments; investigate incidents with root-cause analysis.
• Manage hazardous materials transportation compliance and training.
• Develop and deliver EHS training; analyze safety metrics and trends; drive continuous improvement.
