Job summary

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. seeks an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist I-II at the Greenville, NC plant to lead WC case management, training, and compliance with OSHA/ISO standards.

The role focuses on safety program development, incident investigations, and coordination with operations to improve overall safety and productivity. The position requires a BS in a related field and 4–7 years of EHS experience, with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and training

Qualifications

• Specialized knowledge of EHS regulations including OSHA and EPA requirements.
• Experience with workers’ compensation processes and post-accident investigations.
• Ability to manage training programs and maintain records for compliance.
• Familiar with ISO 14001/45001 and safety management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage workers' compensation case management and post-accident investigations.
• Develop, coordinate, and deliver EHS training programs and materials.
• Maintain ISO 14001/45001, BBS, EMS and related EHS procedures.
• Lead emergency response activities and safety audits across the facility.
• Ensure OSHA, ISO, and internal reporting requirements are met.
