Job summary

Placements24 invites applications for an Educational Content Writer to support a Paarl-based client. You will craft engaging, accurate learning materials for online courses, modules, and study guides, working with instructional designers and subject matter experts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Education, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a content writer, preferably in the e-learning or educational sector.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with instructional design principles and e-learning content development.
• Strong research skills and ability to synthesize complex information.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and proofread educational content for online courses, modules, and study guides.
• Collaborate with instructional designers to ensure content aligns with learning objectives and pedagogical approaches.
• Research and verify information to ensure accuracy and currency of educational materials.
• Develop content in various formats, including text, scripts, and interactive exercises.
• Adapt writing style and tone to suit different target audiences and subject matter.
